
In April of 2024, 100 Cincinnati-based faith leaders from across the business, non-profit, education, government, arts, and congregational sectors came together at City Gospel Mission to commit to the important work of seeing a truly flourishing Cincinnati. This event came about through the unified efforts of several decades-old efforts for city transformation, including City Servants, At Work on Purpose, Mosaix, and more, with Ford Taylor of Transformational Leadership facilitating. Coming out of that City Impact Initiative will be a unified long-term city movement effort developing networks around specific causes and regions, linking arms in the pursuit of a truly impacted city.
This effort is now known as For Cincinnati.

Our goal is simple: to foster city transformation through collaborative Kingdom ecosystems—where individuals, institutions, and causes are connected, equipped, and mobilized.

To make it as simple as possible to get or give help by providing easy access points for people to connect with front-line organizations that fit their unique situations and interests.
To love, serve, and mobilize your congregation as well as possible while providing an invitation (not expectation) to collaborate at an institutional level to make a greater Kingdom impact where you are already serving.
To help bring passionate volunteers, resources, and connections to assist you on the front lines of your ministry and service as well as connecting leaders with a shared heart to unlock deeper systemic impact.
Identifying and assessing communities
When we talk about communities, there are countless examples -
the Harrison community, the latino community, the foster care community, the artist community are examples of just a few types. Our ability to map, network, and mobilize within those diverse communities is critical to seeing Cincinnati flourish.
Within our regional communities, we will begin assessing the needs, strengths, and eventual change happening throughout those unique contexts.
Through assessing the local history, community values, demographics, spiritual landscape, cultural tensions, and strategic opportunities, we are able to have an informed approach on tackling unique and complex issues in the diverse contexts that make up a city.

Mapping
In pursuit of the comprehensive mapping of the front lines of the city, we are excited to announce our partnership with Relink.org. We currently have well over 4,000 community assets mapped, and As we move forward this will expand to include tools, events, initiatives, and diverse Kingdom expressions across all sectors.

Developing Networks
Throughout 2025, our Core Team is working with coaches from City Leaders Collective to develop a network of networks built around the theological foundation of the “Four Greats”:

Our network metric is a simple one: moving communities from isolated ➝ relational ➝ gathered ➝ mobilized. Whether that means strengthening existing networks or providing healthy frameworks to start new ones, we are committed to systemic transformation across all communities - whether they be communities build around neighborhoods, causes, identity, or giftings.
There are currently over 40 causal networks actively meeting across Cincinnati, including more than a dozen that have formed just in the past year—many as a direct result of this collective effort. We are incredibly grateful for your continued commitment to gathering in unity, sharing wisdom, and walking together in pursuit of the Kingdom. These networks are a vital expression of what it looks like to be more than the sum of our parts—and they’re just getting started.

The true potential of Cincinnati is not found in its leaders - it is found in the 2.2 million people that make up this beautiful city. This is For them.

To see Greater Cincinnati transformed into a region where every individual, organization, and institution flourishes through the diverse efforts of the Body of Christ across every sector, as well as organizations focused on human flourishing, resulting in greater unity, collaboration, and Kingdom-driven impact.

To unite faith, nonprofit, business, education, government, and arts & entertainment sectors in a shared commitment to advancing holistic, systemic transformation that reflects Kingdom values and empowers communities.
